Tomo & Blade
This image was created for The Strange Behavior Challenge. Tomato is well known food by most of the world. I wanted to create something what's easy to identify at the first sight. Huge eyes and mouth. All for the expression. I wanted to create something (someone) cute who can surprise us with a strange reaction. I targeted the combination of a cute and harmness figure and a real fighter if circumstances require that. Watch animation at CGtalk.
Maybe one day
This image was created for The Master and Servant Challenge. We live in relationships. With each other, with our environment, with nature. These relationships are affected by hierarchy, emotions, cultural backrounds and the aspect of view. Master and Servant relationship is just one kind of the million and i think it's not exist in a pure form. There are always some reasons... As humans our emotions, instincts and habits are guiding us on the way. Sometimes we're servants of our own ideas and habits, just as my main character Odon is. Download work in progress pack (pdf).
Rodeo
Life is our greatest journey. It's still a question what happens after life. I also asked it in my image. Where do we go, and why? How? I tried to depict a vision in my entry. Heaven and hell are symbols of good and bad. I tried to avoid to create a simply religion based image. It's much more about a choice between two poles. This choice is heavy just as many of them in our life. Sometimes these decisions are scary for us, although these are also determinating the way we live. The journey we begin all the times with that decision.
